Refuse Loader

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Refuse Collector to join Dudley Council. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience operating various types of refuse collection vehicles, including front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, and roll-off trucks. This role requires physical stamina for heavy lifting and the ability to drive commercial vehicles safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Collect refuse from residential and commercial locations according to scheduled routes.
• Load and unload waste materials efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
• Safe operation of the bin lift and other equipment on the vehicle.
• Refuse collection
• Picking and collecting waste and garbage
• Separating collected materials that should be recycled
• Emptying garbage trucks that has been filled
• Crushing/ garbage refuse collected
• Following Health & Safety guidelines Successfully following instructions

This is an agency assignment and an ongoing role.

Working Hours:

07:00-15:00

05:45-13:45

06:00-14:00
